Our Team

Tim began his appraising career in 1987, after 15 years in the construction industry. With his construction background for support, appraising for all types of new construction is one of his specialties. The first 10 years were dedicated to residential appraising, with commercial valuation added to allow greater diversity of available services.

Tim is a native of Helena, with many community connections, having been active in the Helena Building Industry Association, Helena Area Habitat for Humanity, Farm in the Dell International and the Helena Chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness. After serving 8 years on the State Board of Real Estate Appraisers, he also has a broad based knowledge of current appraisal rules and regulations, along with having established contacts state wide, which has been invaluable when completing complex projects in many areas of the state.

He holds the IFAS designation through the National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers.

Also a native to Helena, Shaun is third generation in the business and joined the firm in 2002. After joining in the Army National Guard just out of high school, he returned to and remained in the Helena area. Shaun holds a General Certification and practices in a broad range of areas including residential, commercial, and farm and ranch properties.

Shaun served a term on the Joint Helena/Lewis and Clark County Planning Board, and served three years on the National Associations of Realtor’s Real Property Valuation Committee. He is a past board member and president of the Helena Multiple List System.

Sarah started with Moore Appraisal Firm in 2017 as an office assistant and become knowledgeable in all things appraisal-office related.

She began as an appraiser trainee 2021 and has been a licensed residential appraiser since 2022 specializing in residential real estate throughout Helena, Great Falls, and the surrounding areas.

Jennifer has been appraising residential properties since 2016 and received her Certified Residential Appraiser license in Washington State December 2018. She moved back to Missoula in 2020 and continues appraising residential properties in Western Montana.  She enjoys exploring western Montana through her work.

Before appraising, she worked as a real estate broker with Windermere Real Estate for 8 years in Seattle, Wa.  She has a great passion for real estate, houses and homeownership. Jennifer graduated with a Bachelor of Science Resource Management Degree from the University of Montana.

When Jennifer is not out inspecting houses or in the office, you can find her hiking the north hills of Missoula or taking Pure Barre classes.  She enjoys spending time with her teenage boys, dog Allie, adventuring with friends and home improvement projects .

Born and raised in Big Timber, Montana where he graduated high school, Nels pursued higher education in Billings, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Montana State University Billings (MSUB). Following graduation, he transitioned into the real estate industry, obtaining his license in January 2019. Nels expanded his professional portfolio by coaching track at Montana State University Billings starting in the fall of 2020.

In July 2022, he ventured into real estate appraisal, becoming licensed in September 2023 and is actively working toward certification.

His expertise in real estate spans residential real estate, farm, and ranch properties, where he has consistently provided clients with tailored solutions to meet their diverse needs.
